 I’m Elizabeth Heichler, IDG News Service Editor in Chief. I oversee the operations of IDG’s round-the-clock, international technology news wire. We provide original breaking news material as well as re-circulated publication content to IDG’s web sites and magazines around the world. Why I’m here
I love the international scope of the IDG News Service and being connected to what is happening in technology all around the world. That scope has also brought many fascinating and adventurous people to our staff – they are all journalists interested in exploring beyond their native borders.
On the job
Daily, I review stories on our wire from the past 24 hours. I read what’s being published by our competitors, such as other IT news sites and national newspapers’ tech sections. I also respond to requests for help or information from IDG editors
