 I’m Kathryn Marston, IDG Brokerage Services Manager. I develop proposals and direct marketing strategies for a variety of clients, based on knowledge of best practices, assessment of client needs, and analysis of previous campaign performance.
Why I’m here
There are two things I love most about my job. The first, in this role you are constantly researching and learning something new. Each day is different because you are working on different topics and it can be quite challenging when trying to find that client’s “wish list” for their marketing program. That obstacle makes it more interesting because you are always learning something new; exploring publications/online resources /topics you may not have known about. It’s a rewarding feeling when you find that right match.
The second is that I also enjoy speaking to different clients throughout the day. It’s nice to speak to someone new and develop an ongoing relationship with them. Everyday is a new experience!
On the job
I prepare domestic and International list research and list recommendations for multiple clients. I consult with clients to develop a marketing strategy and multi-channel marketing program that not only fits within client’s budget but reaches the appropriate targeted audience.
