Teresina Cardamone

 My name is Teresina Cardamone, and I am the Digital Marketing Manager at IDG Strategic Marketing Services (SMS). I manage all digital marketing efforts at IDG SMS; websites, micro sites, newsletters, online advertising, social media sites. I measure the success of these digital initiatives by calculating and evaluating the online analytics. The results of the analytics drive future projects and initiatives of this group. As project manager of marketing initiatives for IDG SMS, I maintain ongoing communication with our vendors and agencies to execute the completion of online and print campaigns.
Why I’m here
I started working at IDG after I graduated college and have continued to learn and be challenged on a daily basis; something a young professional needs to become successful. Also, my responsibilities allow a lot of room for creativity and new technology, so I am always learning something new. It’s never dull!
On the job
As project manager for all of IDG Communications’ marketing campaigns/initiatives I use in-house and external marketing services (Web sites, microsites, e-newsletters, blogs, online ads, brochures, PPTs, etc...). I am web master for IDG’s corporate web site IDG.com and IDG Knowledge Hub (tech marketer/agency pro resource site). I manage site infrastructure, content, and overall maintenance.
I manage IDG Communication’s social media sites IDG Knowledge Hub Twitter and Facebook by adding new content and engaging with the communities through stimulating conversations. My aim is to bring in new users and keep the current users engaged.
Career growth
IDG has provided me with the technical training to succeed as a digital marketer, now I just need to focus my training on the business side. IDG encourages employees' career growth through their internal and external training programs.

If you’re self motivated, IDG is willing to train you and give you the skills you need to succeed. IDG promotes career development through the variety of offered programs such as free training classes to develop skills as well as meet other employees. There are a lot of small clubs at IDG too – Yoga, charity runs, softball, book clubs, etc – IDG is great at providing all it can to ensure employees are happy inside and outside of the workplace.
